Sophie - Toffee Brown

Sizing is difficult - orders same European size I usually wear, but they were short. Oddly, they were shorter for my second toe, not the big one. Think they need to expand the toe box a bit. Also very stiff, not comfortable.

This ran large on my foot, otherwise just a lovely shoe. My feet are 25.6cm and 9.7cm. I usually wear an EU 41, which is what I ordered. I wear flats barefoot, which creates a different fit than sneakers with socks. I also didn’t realize the size chart on these had different lengths than the Ace I own. Ace and Eazy are shorter in length at size 41 than Sophie. Anyway the fit felt fine at first but as I walked the leather quickly warmed and loosened in feel, and they were falling off my heels even with a heel insert. I plan to order a 40 and hope it is the right size. Also I have a big toe with a toenail that sticks up and a lot of barefoot flats press down on that. Sophie did not so quite comfy on the toe area. They are narrower than BeLenka Ace of course, but they aren’t as narrow as non-barefoot flats so I felt it was a good compromise for something I can wear to work. The gold color is just lovely! Fun and refined yet a little sporty too with the white sole. I have tried a lot of flats and these were the closest to fitting of any I’ve tried. Maybe I can size down and get it right!
