Collections come ahead of the season they are built for — lighter models and sandals before spring and summer, treated and insulated models before fall and winter. Alongside new designs come new colorways of models already in the range, which is usually the simplest way to add a second pair. The size range is fullest right after a launch. Mid sizes in popular colors go first, so buying ahead of the weather is worth more than waiting for it.
New, but not experimental
Every model goes through its own development and is tested over thousands of steps before it goes on sale, sole compounds included. A lot of new arrivals are updated versions of familiar models — the 2.0 and 3.0 in the range — and those updates usually come from what customers report: a material that holds up better, a heel that locks in more securely, a sole with more grip. What never changes is the foundation: an anatomically wide toe box, a thin flexible sole and zero drop.
