How to correctly measure your foot?

  1. Place a sheet of paper on a flat hard surface and stand on it. Stand straight and relax your toes
  2. Hold the pen vertically and trace the outline of your entire foot
  3. Measuring length: mark the longest part of your foot from the center of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. Connect the points and measure the foot length
  4. Measuring width: mark the widest part of your foot. Connect the marks and measure the foot width. Write down the measured values
  5. Add approx. 0.197 in to your measured length and you have your size

This is my third pair of Be Lenka shoes. The 'City' model was my favorite shoe of all time, and I wore the soles through over years. I still have the 'Be Lenka Prime 2.0' as my daily driver, although they are "puffy" along the top and no longer have an all-leather construction (e.g., cloth sole).

This latest pair ('Cityscape' - $99 USD as of 2026.08) does not meet my expectations of quality for a Be Lenka product or barefoot shoe. The new shoes caused a blister on my back heel immediately. The nappa leather looks and feels faux/vegan, even though the description says it is real. The sole has been changed again from the leaf motif, and feels cheap. I am very disappointed, and wish they would return to the original 'City' all leather premium construction and minimalist design from 2021.

The most comfortable shoes I've worn. I hesitated it was a little higher than my budget but it is the best investment I've made, because it's very high quality. I've worn it everyday for the last three months, I want to wear more but it's autumn.

I like the shoes a lot. I carefully measured my foot and ordered the 46. They seemed to fit fine and I liked them, but when I went to wear them for a full day I discovered that their toe of the shoe is tapered shorter as it moves to the small toes. Unfortunately, my second toe is longer than my big toe and over the course of the day it crowded my second toe and was uncomfortable. Overall, I think they are nicely designed, but be cautious with your sizing.
