Here’s my quick story: I bought these shoes for a two week vacation to Europe where I knew I would be walking a lot and I thought it would be the perfect time to go for barefoot shoes. I was told it’s not wise to go “cold turkey” and start using them exclusively right away but to slowly let your feet get used to them. So I started walking barefoot on the treadmill for about an hour maybe every other day a couple months in advance. (I’ve also trained in Taekwondo for 7ish years so my feet are more used to being barefoot than most). As of writing this review, I am currently on the trip and went on an intense day trip yesterday to Cinque Terre and got over 27,000 steps and intense hiking up and down a mountain on rough rocky trails (over 100 flights climbed). I took a chance and wore my brand new Synergy Chocolate and Beige Be Lenka shoes the whole day… and my feet thrived! I was very pleasantly surprised. The bottom of the shoes are grippy, flexible, and protective and don’t even look too dirty and worn even after some intense trekking. It rained the next day and they are also surprisingly water resistant (my socks never felt wet). They are comfortable and do not chafe my ankles. They smell good like genuine leather. They are easy to pull on and off. The laces are a good material that stays tied with a simple bow all day long. I am very satisfied with my purchase and the price was very reasonable for such a quality piece of footwear. I look forward to wearing these more and more. If you’re hesitating, let this be your confirmation to go barefoot with Be Lenka! (Customer service was helpful and friendly too)

Plenty of room for my toes, also warmer socks will fit in colder days.

They look very good and are very comfortable, unfortunately I am between shoe sizes, for my the ideal shoe size would be 42.5 for this shoe. I hope they will make it in the future
