How to correctly measure your foot?

  1. Place a sheet of paper on a flat hard surface and stand on it. Stand straight and relax your toes
  2. Hold the pen vertically and trace the outline of your entire foot
  3. Measuring length: mark the longest part of your foot from the center of the heel to the tip of the longest toe. Connect the points and measure the foot length
  4. Measuring width: mark the widest part of your foot. Connect the marks and measure the foot width. Write down the measured values
  5. Add approx. 0.197 in to your measured length and you have your size

I have fitted these shoes in person, before buying them online. I went with my usual size, size 39(EU/NL).
The length is slightly shorter than your average size 39 and I can imagine these shoes being too short for some. For me the size 40 was too big both in length as width.
These shoes are very comfortable, expect leather (as usual) to take some time to break in.
They are a decent office/lifestyle/informal sneaker, and are as elegant as you expect them to be. (Vs. for example the velocity, which looks, feels and wears like a sports shoe).
